INGREDIENTS:
Chicken - 500gm
Onion (big) - 1
Tomato (big) -1
GingerGarlic (GG) -1tsp
Palak -1-2 bunch
Green chilly -4
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Chilly powder -1tsp
Coriander powder -1 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala -1 tsp
Salt
Oil 2-3 tsp
PREPARATION:
GRIND
Soak Palak in hot water for 10 min
Then drain the palak and grind with green chilly
keep the palak paste aside
Heat pan Pour oil add garam masala
Add Onion + GG paste fry for 3 minutes
Add Tomatoes fry for 3-4 minutes
Now Add turmeric, chilly, coriander, garam masala powders , Salt - Mix well ..
Now Add chicken pour little water and close the lid for 10min in a medium flame
When the chicken is half cooked.. Pour the Palak mixture and mix it well.
Let it cook for 15 minutes .. then it will be ready

Hi Manju, this is a very different item.. which has Spinach too good for health.
ReplyDeleteInstead of soaking that in hot water and draining, in a pan, add a tea spoon of oil (can be omitted too), add Spinach to it and close the lid of non-stick pan. In 5mins, leaves will be boiled and all the nutrients will be preserved too... we can use that as it is with water in the chicken curry.. If we drain the water, all the nutrients will be washed away, and we will be left out with pulp...
